Jack Mitchell died 30th October 1988 age 62, Taxi Driver working for Taybar Taxis in Hastings East Sussex.
Born in Fulham London 28th December 1925 son of Percy & Annie Mitchell. Brother to Percy (deceased), Daisy(deceased age 24), Sylvie (Deceased 2007) leaving behind just Joyce
Died suddenly 30th October at 7.30 am whilst getting ready for work, leaving behind beloved wife Pam (deceased 1998) daughter Cathie, Son Jon & Granddaughters Traci & Kellie, also he would have 8 great grandchildren, Georgia, Jacob, Chelsea, Max, Lewis, Noah and Mason Jack, born 20th May 2007, 8 and half weeks early, nearly joining his great grandad weighing just 3lbs 9 ozs, but due to his grandad Jack watching over him and willing him to carry on fighting, he is now 4lbs 6ozs and doing well, plus on 6th feb 2009 the last baby Ashley Jay another wonderful grandson.
Jack, my beloved dad was a wonderful, gentle, kind loving man, he adored his family, he was well liked by all his colleagues, friends and neighbours.
He had been on holiday in Oregon USA celebrating his 33rd wedding anniversary in September 1988, and had only been home a few weeks and said goodbye to his father in law on 14th October 1988, not realising his time was so close, just 16 days later, we were all devastated, our rock had gone.
Sadly missed by all who knew and loved him especially his bobo's (Traci) and kellie whom he adored.

Hi dad, it would have been yours and mum's 55th wedding anniversary on 1st october, wish you had both been here to celebrate it, miss you both so very much.
When I got married last week I know you both were there, I could feel you both so clearly.

To my dearest darling dad
21 years today, and it seems like yesterday, I love and miss you so very much, I wish you were here to see your granddaughters traci and kellie how grown up they are and to meet their children, I know that you are looking after all our angel babies. I have met someone dad, I am sure you know that already, I am sure you would like him and I do hope we will be as happy as you and mum were, give her a kiss for me.
Jon has also remarried again I am sure you know, Anna makes him very happy and also he and I are close again which you and mum would like
